why i hate st.patrick's day

simple..i am part irish.
it's gotten to the point where every year,we're deluged with the "drunken irish" t-shirts.i saw one today that said "10% irish,100% drunk".
ha ha..F you.

can someone tell me why this is funny,where if any other people were targeted like this,year after year there'd be screaming and howling and outcry?
i used to have a sense of humor about it,but it's getting old.

the funny thing is the people i usually see the drunkest at st patrick day celebrations aren't irish.although i must admit,that green beer really looks spectacular the second time around...until they have to clean it up.
wankers.

i'm thouroughly disappointed LOL.
even though it's probably not a good idea.it would bring DUI to a whole new level.

halloween & the pee pee dancer

people in my neighborhood started early as they normally do.as soon as one holiday passes by,out comes the new.
the thing that struck me as weird (or brave)are the ones who put that..crepe?
web on their house,or the corn husk decoration.

now,people in my state seem to lean toward firebug (i don't know why,it is what it is)
and to me,that just seems asking for it.i know i wouldn't do it.all it takes is one jerk with a lighter.

we only had 8 kids show up this year,it was kind of disappointing.i guess between the swine flu and random whackos in general more people are sending their kids to parties instead.either that,or the PS3 is more enticing than even candy.
but this one child (not the peepee dancer-i'm getting to that) as soon as i opened the door,did the happy dance of goodies.lil' blonde kid,cute as a button.must have been first time trick or treating,couldn't have been more than 4.yea,he got extra candy for that.than grin was just too endearing-i bet he made out like a bandit this year.

that's right-it's a dog.
this is my neighbor's dog,impatiently waiting for it's owners.as much as this dog usually annoys me BARKBARKBARK we couldn't help but snap a pic as we saw him dancing as we walked by the window.poor dog.i personally hope he peed on the couch.
that's what they get for keeping him in to bark all the time ;)
