My friend here at Facebook, Campbell Welsh, is embarking on a new life and is heading for a Benedictine Monastary. As a result, she cannot take her two cats with her Matlin and Olive. She is leaving for this new life and is desperate to find new homes for her two cats.
Her new life will begin around May 29th...so she needs to rehome these two cats ASAP
She lives in the Lexington, KY area but may be able to arrange transport if you don't live in KY
I'm contacting people here even those who do not live in the KY area...PLEASE CROSS POST AS MAYBE ONE OF YOUR FRIENDS IS IN THE KY AREA OR SURROUNDING STATES

Here's the info on her two cats:

Olive is 3 1/2 yrs old, spayed, not vetted. Solid black bobtail. Sweet, but some shy. She likes to be petted and greets you and sleeps with you. She is not a lap cat but likes to let you know she appreciates you. Was raised around dogs.
Has seafoam green eyes although they look gold.

Matlin is 2 1/2 yrs old, recently spayed, not vetted. Tortie bobtail. In-your-face loving kitty. Oral - will give love nips and nurse your earlobe if you let her. Perpetual kitten into everything. Loves dogs

If you know of a GOOD home please contact Campbell Walsh

(picture does not show injuries-this cat has open wounds)

This poor boy is located at a vet clinic in Hamilton, IL. The county doesn’t help with cats so when the animal control told the teenagers there was nothing he could do to help, they brought this boy into my vets office. He was found in horrible condition with the skin on his stomach hanging off and his skin is falling off in pieces. No money, stray cat with no owner.....he didn’t have many options. It is believed he was hit by a car and drug underneath it. He is incredibly friendly and outgoing, even in the shape he is in. Now what is going to become of him…euthanasia, turned loose back to the streets????? These kids that brought him in can’t take him or pay the bill, with no animal control here for cats this Tom needs your help. He is expected a full recovery so please if you can help donate towards his bill you can call vet office Hancock Veterinary Clinic, at 217-847-3911 or if you can rescue him, please contact Westhancockk9@mchsi.com. Transport to Chicago is available!!
